Pedri joined UD Tequesta, starting as a center-back. At 12, Pedri signed for CF Juventud Laguna, where he played until 2018. Pedri became Las Palmas’ then-youngest goal scorer with his first professional goal in September 2019. He was promoted to the Spanish national team’s U21 side in 2020. Pedri made his professional debut on 18 August 2019, aged only 16, by starting in a 0–1 home loss against Huesca in the Segunda División.
