Aarif Sheikh, born on October 5, 1997, in Birgunj, Nepal, is a prominent Nepalese cricketer who has represented the national team in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 Internationals (T20Is). A right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler, Aarif is known for his versatility and composure on the field. Formerly the vice-captain of Nepal’s Under-19 team, he has grown into an essential player for the senior team.
Aarif made his ODI debut on August 1, 2018, against the Netherlands, a historic match marking Nepal’s entry into ODI cricket, and his T20I debut on January 16, 2019, against the UAE.
