Jiya Shankar is an Indian actress. She was born on 17 April 1995, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is known for her work in the Hindi television industry. She gained popularity for her role as Isha Jai Singh in the TV show “Meri Hanikarak Biwi,” which aired on TV and for Sab TV’s comedy series Kaatelal & Sons, starring Susheela “Susheela” Ruhail Solanki. In addition, she has acted in multiple Telugu movies and co-hosted the television program “Good Night India” on SAB Tv.
Jiya most recently starred in Ved, a Marathi film. She competed in Bigg Boss OTT 2, and three days prior to the grand finale, on Day 54, she was eliminated.

She made her first film appearance as Jiya in the 2013 Telugu film ‘‘Entha Andanga Unnave”.
In 2015, Shankar made her TV debut opposite Karan Singhmar in Bindass’s Love by Chance as Alisha Rai. In 2016, Shankar made her TV debut as Shreya Dixit Rathore, one of the leads in & TV’s Queens Hain Hum.
Later in 2017, she appeared in a Tamil film named ”Kanavu Variyam”. In 2018, she portrayed Vaishnavi in the Telugu film “Hyderabad Love Story”.
One of her notable roles was as Isha Jai Singh in the TV show “Meri Hanikarak Biwi,” which aired on &TV.
In 2021, she appeared in the Marathi movie “Ved” as Nisha Katkar alongside Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh. She received recognition for her moving acting skills and being a fresh face in the Marathi film industry.
In Sab TV’s Kaatelal & Sons, Shankar most recently portrayed Susheela Ruhail Solanki opposite Paras Arora. She portrayed the character of Pavitra in the 2022 episode of Colors TV’s Pishachini, opposite Harsh Rajput.
